Box sides and top are 1/2" thick giving the box a light but sturdy appearance. The bottom is also 1/2" thick which is thicker than the standard 1/4" or even sometimes 1/8" thick bottoms. This allows our boxes to hold more weight without breaking and in general use will allow the keepsake box to last longer.
