Each board is individually handcrafted by Andrew (AJ) Franck in his Florida workshop, featuring precisely cut squares, tight joinery, and a smooth playing surface that's as satisfying to touch as it is to play on.

AJ works with premium hardwoods, including:

  • Black Walnut — rich, dark tones with stunning natural grain
  • Curly Maple — luminous figure and natural shimmer
  • Curly Cherry — warm amber tones with flowing grain patterns

Every piece is finished to highlight the wood's natural beauty — no stains, no shortcuts. To maintain the quality you deserve, AJ limits production to just 20 orders per week. Custom requests are always welcome.
