Frequently Asked Questions

Where do you make your wood furniture?

We make all furniture here in Tampa, Florida. It is shipped out from Palmetto, Florida.

Where do you buy the lumber you use?

We buy our lumber from top quality suppliers of hardwoods. We buy all our wood from companies based in the US, and all wood in kiln dried and sourced from Canada or the USA, with exceptions for exotic hardwoods.

Do you offer custom furniture orders?

Yes, we offer custom furniture orders. We only take on a few customers for these special orders.

What is your return policy?

Why did you start woodworking?

I started woodworking in October of 2022. It was a crucial time in life when I was still deciding what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I was an engineering student before this, and had an itch to build something, as that is really the main reason I went into engineering in the first place. However, I was disappointed we had not build anything yet, so I decided to take matters into my own hands. Once I started making things and could see the fruits of my labor in the finished product, I knew this is what I wanted to pursue.

What is your goal with making wood furniture?

I make furniture because I believe that better furniture will make people's lives better. I love both the functionality and beauty of wood furniture, and want to share that experience with my customers by building them beautiful and functional pieces of wood art, as some may call it.

What are some new products you are working on?

We are currently working on making some thick coffee tables, and a dining table. We also plan to make a set of dining chairs later on, I even have most of the design for that set of chairs finished already.

What are your processing times?

Our processing times vary for our products. For our end tables, it can take us anywhere from 2-4 weeks to source wood, select boards, and build the end table. For cutting boards, we allow for 1-2 weeks, to allow for board selection, surfacing, and finishing. For our entryway products, we need about 2-4 weeks to process these products.

What are your shipping times?

We use UPS Ground and UPS Ground Saver for most of our shipping which means most items will take 1-6 business days to arrive after processing the product. Closer locations to Florida will take less time, and further locations like California will be take longer.

What do you charge for shipping?

We offer free shipping on all of our products except for custom orders. This may change in the future though.

What are some preventative measures that I can take with wood surfaces/furniture?

Some preventative measures we can take to care for wood surfaces is to keep it out of sunlight, this can affect the color of the wood over time, usually darkening the surface and can weaken the finish. You can keep the wood surface dry or in less moist environments. Water absorption and release can cause warping and cracking in wood boards over time which is why we want to keep the surface dry when possible. Keeping wood surfaces dry can also prevent water stains, like water rings from drinks. In that case, just use coasters. To effectively clean a wood surface, slightly wet a microfiber towel and apply a little bit of soap. Wipe the towel in the direction of the grain, being sure to not oversaturate the wood surface. Then, wipe the surface dry.
