Thick 1.5" table legs gives the table extra stability.
Finish is a low-VOC hard wax oil. It is durable and resistant to water, dirt, and common household spills. Hard wax oil leaves a beautiful finish that allows you to clearly see the grain of the wood and does not leave a plastic look like polyurethane finishes. And it's easy to reapply if the end table gets worn or damaged. It is so easy, it takes a few minutes to apply the finish. Then, you just wait a while before removing the excess hard wax oil.
Each table is custom made to order and is unique and may vary from the one pictured. Each piece of natural hardwood has its own color and grain variations.
Processing time is 2-4 weeks to allow time to handmake each end table without rushing. This also allows us to carefully match the wood being used and orient the grain direction carefully. We usually ship using UPS Ground, or UPS Ground Saver which ships to your door within 1-6 days in the USA. Shipping is not free. I can not find a perfect way to charge shipping for these end tables. As such, I charge $125 shipping up front, and refund anything leftover from the cost of shipping the end table back to you, if possible.
Every table is packaged carefully with bubble wrap and foam corner protection for the tabletop. The table is also wrapped in protective blankets inside the cardboard box we ship it in. The end table comes fully assembled upon arrival, meaning it is ready to use out of the box.
If necessary, you have a few options when repairing the end table. You can either sand the table to remove scratches and wear, then apply a new coat of the preferred finish (you don't have to sand the whole table if you only want to repair certain areas). I suggest hard wax oil since you generally can just wipe them on, and then buff off the excess after some time. Or you can buy a different restoring finish that does not require you to sand at all, but blends the scratches in, and makes it as though there was no damage at all.
