This cutting board is made from some of the highest quality curly maple hardwood you can find and is sourced from Canada. The wood is both beautiful and durable, and it is not so hard that your knives will be blunted. Lastly, we sand the cutting board thoroughly to 220 grit, getting all the corners and edges nice and smooth to make it easier to handle.

Craftsmanship:
Every one of our boards is crafted in our small wood shop in Florida. For larger sized cutting boards, two or more pieces of curly maple may be used to obtain the width required. Rest assured, any cutting board you order will have a quality and appearance comparable to, if not exceeding, those pictured.

Food Safety: This handmade cutting board is 100% food-safe, coated with food-grade mineral oil and a mixture of mineral oil, beeswax, and vitamin E. We can finish the cutting board with fractionated coconut oil if requested.
