This cutting board is made from some of the highest quality curly maple hardwood you can find and is sourced from Canada. The wood is both beautiful and durable, and it is not so hard that your knives will be blunted. Lastly, we sand the cutting board thoroughly to 220 grit, getting all the corners and edges nice and smooth to make it easier to handle.

Craftsmanship:
Every one of our boards is crafted in our small wood shop in Florida. Each curly maple cutting board is crafted from one board, except for the 12" wide size, which is generally joined using 2 pieces of wood. Rest assured, any cutting board you order will have a quality and appearance comparable to, if not exceeding, those pictured.

Care Instructions:

Food Safety: This handmade cutting board is 100% food-safe, coated with food-grade mineral oil and a mixture of mineral oil, beeswax, vitamin E, and coconut oil. We can finish the cutting board with fractionated coconut oil if requested.

Cleaning: Hand wash only; do not use a dishwasher to maintain the board’s longevity and finish.
